GABRIEL MOTO NEW AMBASSADOR OF SCOUT PROJECT FOR AE CARLES VALLBONA

Gabriel Moto, a person with a lot of experience in the field of education and sports Granollers will be the ambassador of the SCOUT project that CV Granollers has started this season.
AE Carles Vallbona volleyball has already registered around thirty girls to participate in a new inclusion and integration project linked to sport. Again, the club bet on promoting sport with a collaborative Erasmus project with
entities from other countries, including Germany, France and Italy, and the University of Vic.
The Granollerí club is once again betting on the promotion of women’s sport and in this case for a project of inclusion and integration of girls who cannot do the payment of the cost of doing federated sport in the city. This is one
problem that repeats itself in Catalonia and where the administrations devote little economic resources with a social reality that means that many women cannot do federated sport because of an economic problem.
Currently, there is municipal aid in Granollers, but these only arrive to the families who are already registered in the clubs. There is a reality that does in the case of the girls not being able to approach the clubs and this SCOUT project the what he wants is to introduce volleyball to girls who have never played sports extracurricular.
They train with us one or two days a week and from the month of January they will finish training with club players and at the end of the season some will make an exchange with the other entities of the project” in Marseille.
Since the month of January, all these girls, at the end of training, receive a piece of fruit because at the club we believe that good nutrition is health and for this reason we want to create good healthy habits.
On the other hand, this weekend the children’s team qualified for the promotion phase played by the 8 best teams in Catalonia. The team, cadet and youth have not qualified by a point and are having a very good season a a very high level.
The senior team remains leader of its group without losing a game and expects to start the second phase with the aim of moving up a category.
