The SCOUT recruitment programme, the Erasmus+Sport project co-financed by the European Union, has started in all the project’s partner companies.
To date, over 30 girls aged between 8 and 12 have approached the various clubs to start playing volleyball. All the girls, considered at risk of social exclusion for reasons – among others – economic, cultural, religious, social, gender, were included in already existing groups, to allow them to integrate and be included in the different teams.
At the same time, MOOC training courses are continuing for coaches and sports managers, who will have the opportunity to delve deeper into specific topics related to the inclusion of young athletes and thus be prepared to recognize and address potential critical issues linked to the themes of the SCOUT project.
